Well for a year that started off pretty decent , i am sad that in the morning i have to put my second cat in less than a year to sleep :-( Back in May my poor Snuggles had to be put down at 16 years old , and Bum is also 16 . Over the past few weeks his body has just quickly started to shut down on him and finally tonight he seems to be uncomfortable so its time. Not a dry eye in the house . Our pets are like our family . So sad when Nik said he was telling Bum " his final words to him " . So thats my day . And i sucked it up and got that damn Facebook timeline to boot since we are all being forced to anyway lol . Well you prolly wont be hearing from me tomorrow because i think i will be up all night because im going at 6:45 am to the vet , and then coming home and catching some sleep. If i feel inspired tomorrow night maybe but i have a feeling im not gonna be in the greatest of spirits . Hope everyone is having a good January . Catch up with you soon :-)

Happy 2012 my peeps ! I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. Mine has been NON STOP crazy busy .

Had a great time new years eve with friends , and yesterday had SUCH a great time with several of my oldest friends all the way back from the grammar school days . We got together a few months ago and everyone had such a blast we have decided to do it every couple months, so we gathered again yesterday and it was so much fun . The same year we graduated grammar school was the same year as the movie STAND BY ME was released. This group of friends definately proves true to the line from the movie " "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?" ....no pun intended with the Jesus in there altho we are from Catholic school LOL .... Got another busy week ahead of me . Next weekend is a whole new set of social events lol ... 2012 has started off that way it seems ! My in between weeks have been packed , so the weeks im home w the fam are much needed time to regroup and just chill :-)

I have realized this year all the things i have to be grateful for and where i wanna go with my life . Ive started talking alot of steps to head in the right direction. I have met so many great people and great friends . You just never know what tomorrow brings . The best you can do is put out there in the universe what you need, and hopefully it will come to you . Believing it can is the first step .

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday ! It was great but been a longggggg 3 days ! Im so ready to be back to normal, whatever that may be lol ..... Xmas eve is the traditional big gathering at my dads , 15 to 20 people, lots of presents , food and chaos ..... My mom actually came this year for the first time . Wound up being nice ..... then it was 2 long days straight of me cooking for a full house . I had Christmas day here , which is the norm cuz it my moms bday , but this year my dad and stepmom joined us so i did the full turkey dinner , and bday cake for mom . Then yesterday it was just as chaotic , had full dinner again w my mom, brother and Marissa . It was my babys bday . My body ached from being on my feet non stop lol . So i took a breather last night and went and hung out with a group of friends for a little bit after everyone left . Wound up being a good night . And now today im taking down my tree and relaxxxxxing and eating leftover turkey feast for dinner . Havent yet decided on New Years plans but im sure i will come up with something . Looking forward to a New year and a fresh start ! I will be back , hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season, and soon i promise to let my followers know im alive , just havent had the time to blog hop yet .

I also wanna take a second to remember 2 of my grandparents that both died on this day .... my grandfather died 34 years ago today , and my stepgrandmother also died on this day 11 years ago. You are both loved and missed everyday .....

Went to NYC over the weekend with a group of friends, the weather was great ! We saw the tree in Rockerfeller Center , which is beautiful in person , and St. Patricks Cathedral , also beautiful . We had a great time :-) We had about 20 of us at one point cuz 2 different groups of us actually went, lol, but for the most part just our close group of 5 for most of the night . We mostly just went sight seeing , which is great because its all free .... Only in NYC can you have a great time without spending money !

I SERIOUSLY cant believe its been a WHOLE YEAR ?? I will get back into this one of these days like i keep saying . Just always seems like there is stuff happening that eats up the time . Hey everyone , i hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day . And wow im blogging again, who knew ! lol ..... I also think im actually gonna be crafty and scrappy tomorrow for the the first time in a year ! How the heck did THAT happen ?? Im goin to Jen T's tomorrow and we r gonna get our scrap on. And wow do i have sooooo much scrappy stuff , when i went to sort i didnt even get to half the stuff i have ! Like Greta says, its not like you'll ever run out ! lol ...... Well im trying to get myself settled in life again , lots of changes over the last year , just kinda one of those periods where you dont really know what you're doing . But im hoping for things to be settling in a good place in the near future. Im optimistic , i will let you know when all that happens lol . My boys are doing great , Michael seems to be on the right "cocktail" of meds which is awesome , we kinda hit a home run on the first try with the meds which is amazing . A year and a half now hes been on them and is a different child. I know im jumping back and forth on and off topic but i cant wait to get artsy again ! I have to blog hop soon and visit all my girls , but i was visiting my girl Jana's blog ( www.frommyfeatherednest.blogspot.com ) and she has some awesome projects i cant wait to try . She's sooooo talented and such a sweet person too :) Ok well just wanted to pop in real quick, im trying to get back into my blogging too . OOOOOH and not only is Eclipse in 51 days but they release the date for BREAKING DAWN too in case some of you didnt know ! It comes out November 18, 2011 . Well i am blogging twice in the same month at least, thats an improvement. So weird, i was going through my old posts and October of 2008 still shows up on the first page of feeds, thats pretty bad , huh ?! Well im trying to get back to it . I dont have any pics or layouts to post, but i will soon . So is everyone ready for Halloween this weekend ?! Im sooo not lol ...... guess i better step lively on that one . Its funny i had forgotten how many inside Halloween decorations i had since last year i had to skip the decor . That was Michael pre meds back then . What a difference a year makes. This time last year i was at wits end not knowing what i was going to do with him , and now he's doing so great . Really . Especially since January when we got the second doc involved, she has been a miracle worker , and we seem to have hit the right "cocktail" of meds almost right off the bat . Yea, its what they call a "risk benefit" with these hefty kinds of meds, but she and i both agree that in his case, the benefit FAR outweighs the risks . He is so much happier and able to go throughout a normal day with little problems if any at all. Wow. I remember when the day had to consist of trying not to get your skin scratched off and holding him down during rages. A thing of the past. I get emotional just talking about what a wonderful change its been ! Thank you Risperdal and Trileptal ! Ok, well i went off on a tangent with that , but so many of you wonderful chicks i have met through blogging and scrapping have personal messaged me and asked and that means so much that you think enough of me even when im out of site. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I miss you all and i will come by and post on your blogs when im fully back. VERY soon ! Have a safe and Happy Halloween ! Try not to eat too much candy ! If any of you have blackberrys let me know i will add you to my BB Messenger :) Oh yea , and GOOOOOO YANKEEEES !!!!!!

OMG , June 22 nd ?!? WOW , it was longer than i thought , im surprised i still have a blog !! LOLOL ...... Well anyways, here i am !! I cant even think of what has stopped me for so long, but sometimes we just get busy and dont realize how easy it is to fall out of routine with our extracurricular stuff i guess. So i havent scrapped still at all , BUT , Jen does still come over and scrap while im here , haaaa ....... but this week im doing a huge clean and overhaul of all my scrap stuff, and im getting the rebel back in action and gonna take some new pics , after all , Halloween is my favorite scrappy time of year !! So my goal is to start scrapping again this month !! Once i get back into it im sure it will be like i never stopped, its just once you stop something for any length of time its a struggle getting back into it !!
So what else ..... i hope everyone else is doing great, i will be blog hopping soon too and checking out what all of you have been up to !! Im sure everyone can relate to the new Facebook phenom and how that sometimes takes up the blogging time too.
On a side note, Michael is doing great on his medication , i know a few of you had messaged me and asked about him since i hadnt been around, thank you so much for thinking of us . But ya know, medications, they tell you are a "risk benefit" , well sometimes you just have to take that risk because the difference they make is incredible !! They are tweeking here and there, but its amazing that now he can go about his day for the most part and i dont have to worry about what or who hes gonna hurt lol . Thats a thing of the past . I cant believe that this time last year he was on no meds and i was at wits end. But im so grateful to doctors and modern medicine. Its amazing that there really are drugs out there that can turn an outta control little boy into a happy little boy and give peice of mind back to everyone. So a BIG HOOOOORAH to that !! I love it .
Ok, well i feel better now that i put SOMETHING on the blog since June . Just lots of misc. stuff going on in that thing called life lol . But im feeling good and doing good, aside from allergies, bleck ! How bout you ? Pop me a comment, i miss all ya scrappy chix !! And non scrappy chix / dudes or whoever else . And hellllloooooo to all my TWILIGHT girls , can you believe NEW MOON comes out next month already !!!! We are getting ourselves some midnight tix NOW !! I cant get enough Edward !!

Will I Ever BLOG AGAIN ?!

Well i would like to say yes i will !! I just thought it would be alot sooner than it has been, i havent scrapped in like forever , how does that happen !? There just doesnt seem to be any good time to do it lately, but i have a full rooms worth of stuff so at some point the mojo will return !! So weird cuz its not just me either, my friend Jeanette has just as much and hasnt scrapped a page in months either . Robyn pretty much too, i guess women really do "cycle" together in lots of things lol ..... Michael has been doing decent on his meds for those of you who were asking, still working on the magic dose but getting there, he is nothing like he used to be , so much better. He's been sick for almost 2 full weeks which was not fun , but Saturday he woke up and was better all of a sudden , thank goodness ...... hmmm, dunno !! Just been busy with life i guess . But i will be back to regular blogging soon . I miss all my blogger girls !! Hope all is well with everyone and you are having a good start to your summer ...... here in NJ we have had almost constant RAIN for weeks on end, we get the sun for a few hours like once a week lately it seems . Though i have to admit im not an extreme heat lover so its not ALL bad, but on the flip side my hair hates rain !!

- I have wayyyyyy too many scrappy products and cant seem to stop getting more, though im looking into trying that !!
- I love bowling and im on a league with my friends Heather, Jeanette and Jeanettes hubs
- I must always wear lipstick or lip gloss of some sorts, my lips feel dry and wierd without it
- I would rather be cold than hot, i hate to sweat yet i always seem to at the bowling alley
- My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is probably a good ole slice of pizza

A Post ..... and with LAYOUTS no less ?! And MRI update ......

Ok, now i am finally making a REAL post, lol .... I have more layouts than this but figured i would start with a few, lol ..... these were my favorites of the bunch . I am also WAYYYY backlogged on Awards and Tags too, i promise i will do those in the next post, i think have recieved like 4 awards and 1 tag or something like that !! LOL ....

I wanted to also thank all you awesome girls out there, i have gotten alot of questions and hugs regarding my youngest , Michael's , MRI . A quick summary is that his pediatrician is sending him for a sedated MRI of the brain , with and without contrast, to rule out a brain tumor . He doesnt seem HIGHLY concerned but its an area he wants to explore and make sure . Im sooooo flippin' nervous about this i cant even tell you . I am just praying that it comes out normal and that he is ok in that respect. The likely other possibilities are a side effect of the medicine he started at the end of October ( he now randomly vomits and never did that before then ) , and / or behavior/ autism / possible bipolar related. Which let me tell you, i welcome any of those right now . So please cross your fingers, its on MONDAY !! I was originally told early Jan, but they called today and now its Monday. My doc said that if i dont find out anything , which to me would be a good thing, that i should call him and he will make sure he gets the results that day so we know. Also hugs to my friend Joanne, her DD is having surgery today to repair knee and hip damage from an accident she was in over the summer, so i hope she is home sleeping soundly by night . Another friend of mine Laura also has a son that is having and EEG and a MRI to rule out the same sorts of things so hugs to her also :)

Ok, well that was heavy .... can you believe Christmas is only a few days away ?! Im having a little trouble focusing on it right now but i hope that will change. I have to finish shopping this weekend. Im excited because im actually going shopping with a friend from high school that i just reconnected with , pretty wild .

Well thats all for now , i didnt want to put off posting a REAL post any longer, lol .... if all goes well Monday i will be back to my regular posting self, lol ..... have a great holiday everyone !!

Its been way too long since i updated, like 3 weeks, thats the longest i have ever gone i think !! I have a ton of layouts to share, but i will post again sometime tomorrow or tomorrow night, i PROMISE , lol .... Did you enjoy James up for 3 weeks, though ?!

Seriously, just been crazed here, there is more little guy drama if you can believe it AND it makes the other drama look like a walk in the park !! He is being scheduled for a MRI to make sure that these issues he is having arent intensified by a tumor or anything like that , god forbid. Knock on wood and pray that all is ok. Its a precaution so that we know for sure either way whether there is or isnt anything like that . All these things can very well be symptoms of his autism/bipolar or even side effects of the Risperdal , so there are many possibilities. Still scary though ....

Well, this was just a quick " im still here and havent abandoned the blog " type post and i will be back tomorrow night with photos and layouts and all. Thanks to all my loyal bloggers who still stopped by to say hi even when i had James sittin' there for 3 weeks , lol ....

I will start with the above , James : Oh yes, he looked as good as this photo, of course sad that he died but i knew that already. I'm also not a Robert Pattinson fan looks-wise, but as Edward he really does look good too , good make up i guess . Not so much in real life , lol . I also am not a "Cam" fan, just a James, lol . Being vampires must become them .

Onto the movie itself : I did enjoy it . The first 20 minutes or so is a little rushed/awkward with the whole Bella/Edward meeting and all that since it had to be condensed for movie timing, but then the movie picked up and got good. Also at first i wondered about Edwards acting ,but again, that picked up too and got better as the movie went on . The movie started to get so good right at the end where you wanted the story to continue , lol. Jen and I both said we wouldve had no problem sitting there for another 2 hours as the story continued, lol ..... The Ballet Studio was a good scene too, of course i may be biased being that it is James main part, but not just that , it was good . The kitchen scene was very funny. The baseball game was cool too.

Ok so overall, very good ( B+/A- ). I cant say excellent although i would love to , but definately very good and i would still see it again. I agree with some of the girls on one of my boards to where the sequence was a little messed up from the book , i wish the movie couldve been 3 hours instead of 2 because i think they wouldve been able to write it a little smoother through some parts. But i would recommend seeing it for sure if you are a TWILIGHT fan. I also agree where one of the girls said that if you havent read the series though it may not be the movie for you, it would be a bit confusing the way some parts had to be fast forwarded , i would definately say you have to have read the book to appreciate it. Not really a film that the DH's would enjoy either, not enough guy content, so you may want to think twice about bringing them, what did you think ?! I would love to hear !!!!

Well i seem to have had a midnight Scrap Attack with my new Bad Girls kit . I cant believe how FAST these layouts went together, i was channeling my inner Bad Girl or something cuz i really really love all of them, that doesnt usually happen !! LOL ....These are my favorite types of papers and colors !!

Not alot to report at the moment , just had the mojo going, DH was at a hockey game with some friends and my brother. Michael seems to be SO MUCH better with the meds, still some moments but NOTHING like before.

Nobody probably even had a chance to read my last post !! LOL ...... 2 weekends in a row im blogging both days, better than before where i was lucky to do it weekly !! Anyways , im STILL excited for the 2 things in my post from yesterday : Twilight and my new Bad Girls Kit. And i did a few layouts today . The first 3 i used last months Bad Girls Kit , and the 4th one i used stuff that i got from Memory Works that Jen T sells ( www.jentscrappysideofme.blogspot.com ) . Nikolas always refers to his friend Madi, my friend Janine's daughter, as "His Little Friend Madi ", so there was no other title of course !! She really is the tiniest little thing for her age and has this tiny little voice too , she's so cute !! I got a great black and white shot of her that i will have to scrap soon , she was enjoying posing for me , lol .

Well, i think its a short one today , still a little crankyish Michael like i mentioned yesterday, but still worlds better than before any meds, so lets hope the dosing straightens itself out.

I dont really think it matters who you voted for in this election to share in the feeling of what an AMAZING day this is in the history of our country. The Republican/Democratic part of it put aside, anything truly is possible in this country . Barack Obama has shown us all that change is possible if you put your heart and soul into it. This wasnt really meant as a "political" post as much as wanting you to take a moment to revel in this break through for all Americans and all over the globe. God Bless America and change :)

Wow, TWICE in ONE weekend !!!!

Well look at me just Bloggin' away !!!! LOL ...... It feels good to have a life back, i updated on the Autism blog, but the meds are totally helping , woohoo , knock on wood, but i hope they keep it up . Anyways, i did some stash scrapping i guess you would say. I have had this Fancy Pants paper that i just HAD TO HAVE like last year , that i never even opened !!!! Such a scrappy hoarder i am , you wouldnt know what that is like , would you ?! Of course you would !! Well i did the last layout of Crystal with it, i just love the colors . The other 2 are with some Daisy D's paper that i got at a scrap store by my friend Laura's house, again love those brights. Dont you love the "Handsome" in pink title ?! Lol .... my mom gave me this pic of him, he has just always loved his sisters fluffy pink chair, it just looks so funny to see him in it because the pink takes over, so rather than "Pretty" in pink , i took the manly take on pink ,lol ...... the other layout is my good friend Janine ( aka Bean ) and her DH Joe. They are actually coming over this weekend after a while of not seeing them too much, again , good to have some of a life back !!

That little cutie pitutie actually WANTED to go to sleep tonight, weird !! If you know Michael you know that is NOT the norm . Im trying to start to convince myself that all these things are the meds and not coincidence. I go back to see my Rock Star pediatrician this week to check up on it all.

Im just so busy this week its so weird . I think i have something like everyday !! Cant really write too much now because i should be smart and go to sleep too, before i know it he will be BACK up and i'll be like " Hey, i havent even slept yet ?! " lol ..... i actually thought i just heard him which was not cool , but maybe it was just a noise in there , yikes !!

Dont forget to vote tomorrow , its important that everyone have a voice . I know who im voting for but i wont push it on ya in case you are on the other side of the fence, lol , but vote regardless for who :)

Well i may even shock you and post AGAIN because i know i have some scrapping coming my way. And i am like a little kid at Christmas hoping my awesomely cool Tim Holtz cases come in the mail today. Wendy at BAD GIRLS did a preorder for them and i had to have these, its a HUGE tin holder that holds all brands of stamp pads so i can have them all in one place, and then a matching tin for single stamps , again, so cool !!!! I will take a pic when they come, i cant wait to see how big they are , they are supposedly huge !!!! AND if i havent emailed you or called you back dont take it personally, i will do it in the next day or two now that things are calmer for me, again knocking on wood .......

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!! Well its still Halloween to me even though its after midnight since i havent ended my day yet. Hope everyone had alot of fun and got lots of candy. We had a really good time. Nikolas got to trick or treat just on my block in the afternoon with my dad, and then we did our new yearly tradition with my friend Jen . Myself, Nikolas, Crystal and my mom go over for dinner and then Trick or Treat , and then we come back for dessert and hang out. We really had a good time like i said .

Just a few layouts to share that i made recently. I have a few more but i need to take better photos of them.

I know some of you have messaged me asking about the doctor visit, and by the way, thank you so much for that , it really means alot knowing you all care what goes on with me . I dont mean not to answer and im actually not going to post the whole thing because it wasnt the greatest visit, but i do have the short story on my autism blog. The link is on my side bar toward the top , you read about it on there . But Michael IS on some meds , no thanks to that doctor, but to my Rock Star of a pediatrician, so we will see what happens with that, still on a trial basis, though i do notice some relief, we arent seeing the intesity that we saw before, he IS still having mini episodes, but when we raise the dose again in another week ,it would be heavenly to see even that fade. But i am seeing some relief. My poor little cutie pitutie.

Ok, well not a long post today, but i will be back soon . Hugs and good night to all :)

Oh, and do you see how close we are to the Twilight movie ?!?! One of my fellow Bad Girls , Katie, put up a cool recipe for "Vampire Cookies" . Jen and I said we should have our own private Twilight party !!!! I will show them when it gets closer, thanks Katie !!!!

Ok, so i have been tagged by my SUPER SWEET friend Jeni B (http://www.paperpiecing.typepad.com/), i slacked on the last few times i was tagged or blog awarded cuz its been crazy around here, but im up and full of nervousness cuz Michael goes to the doctor in 8 hours !!!! So here it goes :

1- I am a hardcore NIGHT OWL , always have been always will be !!!!

2- I am on a bowling league with my friends Jeanette and Heather, we stink but we have a great time , our catch phrase every week is " Tonight.... We Bowl !!" , for all those Grease 2 fans out there like us, YIKES !!

3- I LOVE black clothes, i think everyone looks best in black . Not Goth, just black , tastefully black.

4- I have a very excessive personality, when i do something its all or nothing , i need to learn moderation , whether it be cleaning, excercising, whatever , i tend to get absorbed very easily, and i have to do it ALL right NOW!!!!

5- I am a positive self talk, quotes and inspirational sayings junkie, i love reading things or sayings that are inspiring. I know some people arent into stuff like that but i really think words matter and make a difference , even what we say to ourselves when nobody else is listening .

6- I ALWAYS have my nails painted, fingers and toes, ALWAYS. Im quite a girly girl i will admit and i cant do without all my girly toiletries. So painted nails are a must for me :) I remember ONE day i didnt have them painted, and that was only because i had just taken the old off to put on new and my friend Robyn said to me "You dont have your nails painted ?!?" lol , i guess she notices.

7- I admire Oprah Winfrey and Tyra Banks. May sound weird to some people but i really like them both, i think Oprah is a very generous person and she is also very inspiring , and i think Tyra does alot to help young girls feel good about themselves and i like that she is someone who tries to use her celebrity status for the good.

And my friend Jeni loves Audrey Hepburn, and as per my number 5 fact about myself, i love inspirational quotes and Jeni had this really cool one listed on her blog by Audrey Hepburn :

Some Things I'm Loving at the Moment ....

Hi :) Just a quick hello as i was putsing around on the blog . I love looking at what everyone loves at the moment so i figured i would put up some of my own faves :)

I want this pink laptop case for my laptop, any excuse to get a bag of any kind, right ?! LOL ....

LOVE LOVE this Baby Lotion by ARBONNE, you can only get it from Arbonne consultants but their products are ALL natural, they dont contain anything that clog the pores. The presentations they do are actually pretty gross when they really break down what are in some of the things we use, even vaseline ...... so i love the feeling that im putting something good for the kids on their skin :)
My NUMBER ONE favorite scrappy product of the moment is hands down American Crafts Puffy Thickers. I HEART these and have already almost used all the ones i had up !! Must get more !!

So mad that this is limited edition and not sold at Nordstrom and some of the stores anymore, but i heard from a little birdie that actual MAC STORES themselves carry this kind of stuff when the department stores dont , but DAZZLEGLASS is the best invention EVAH !! Its sooooo sparkly and shiny i LOVE it !!
My friend Kelly and I cant live without Pigments by MAC, soooo shimmery and soft and this jar will literally last you a decade !! They are gorgeous and come in so many colors !! A personal fave !!
Ok, Stevia .... This is an awesome thing !! So we of course know sugar is laden with calories , but i still love it , but more important, im allergic to artificial sweetener, AND the reason i didnt know till recently was because i also dont believe in them because there are SO MANY negative things they think are caused by them i never wanted to, but low and behold i gave it a try, for calorie saving purposes, and HIVES ..... So back to Stevia ..... it ROCKS because its calorie FREE and NOT artificial. It is a natural sweetener , expensive though, but it also has no aftertaste . I am still "weaning" this in on myself by using half the sugar and half this just because it doesnt taste QUITE as sweet as sugar with one packet, but 2 is too sweet, but i think i can get used to one if i ween myself slow. You can also use Xylitol which is natural, i may check that out too ....
And my beloved Starbucks .... Some things are just ALWAYS worth the calories !! DH doesnt understand the Starbucks thing, but that is because he doesnt like coffee and doesnt get how delish my White Chocolate Mocha Expresso is !!!!! LOVE it , cant deal without it, gazillion calories but i have it once a week and im happy with that :)

Ok and last but not least .... if you want to smell AMAZINGLY citrusy and have the softest skin you have ever felt then you need to try Arbonne's AWAKEN Sea Salt scrub for your body. If you have never used a Sea Salt scrub then you dont know how truly wonderful it is !! Now granted, you do have to clean out the tub after cuz it is oily, you mix with your fingers the oil and salt and scrub it on , ooooooh the aroma and the softness !!!!

Ok well all that has made me tired !! I do have a layout i just did but havent photoed it or anything yet and i will be back with some scrappier stuff in a dayish . Hope you are all enjoying your week. Just doing everyday stuff over here enjoying the cool weather and the sorta calm Michael moods this week. Only 15 days left till the doctor , i dont know if that is good or bad, but i guess we'll see !! Knock on wood though , one of those better few days this week so far, moments here and there, but not constant, so thats a good thing !! Light on Words , Loaded with Layouts, LOL ....And BAD GIRLS : Class 4

I seem to be a slacker lately with the bloggin other than the BAD GIRLS TOP DESIGNER entries, lol ..... AND week 4's is in this post, but so are some other layouts, woohoo . I will be back to normal blogging soon, im trying not to totally neglect it by posting here and there, just havent had alot of typing time when i actually get to the blogging !! LOL ...... Well anyway i will start with the Class 4 entry which was Accesssorising , we had to create a strong sense of unity , harmony, balance and texture by use of accessories . I didnt go over the top with it , but i tied all my details together with the color black, i dont know if i will squeak through to round 5, personally im just so amazed i have made it so far, but very grateful and happy for it. I also feel like it is changing my scrapping a bit, so i guess im learning in the process .

The Lucy layout is one that i made using my BAD GIRLS September kit, i really really like this , thats my little Diva Cat !!
Another layout with my BAD GIRLS Septemeber kit , Thats Michael alright, Sir Jump Alot for sure !! This photo is funny, it is me looking down at him from the top of Jeanettes basement stairs, he was all the way at the bottom and was jumping up and down because he saw us, it was so cute i had to photo it , i think i took this with my phone ?!
I made this a couple weeks ago at my friend Mindy's house, i LOVE this one , ive been into the layering alot lately i guess , im liking that lately. These are my 2 favorite layout colors too i think. Cute little blue eyes of his !!
Theres the CAKE BANDIT !! This was Michael sticking his hands in Crystals 17th birthday cake , it was so funny . Love these papers, they were from last months kit over at Simply Obsessed .
Just a quick 8 1/2 x 11 layout that i think went together in like 10 mintues !! Michael is so cute when he smiles, if only he would do it more often ....sigh....i pop dotted the green stars for a little dimension.

This was Crystal on Halloween when she was 6 years old . I did this with my BAD GIRLS September kit too . i had a Thickers mishap so i had to cut this paper and i didnt want to waste it so i made an 8 1/2 x 11 out of it.

And thats all from the land of layouts !! I think i have a couple other strays , but my point and shoot batteries died in the middle of photoing these !! BAD GIRLS : Class 3 ~ Less is More ~

Ok so apparently lately i only blog with Bad Girls contest entries !!!! LOL ..... Just been hectic, i promise i will start blogging with more content soon !! This is my entry for week 3 ( woohoo, made it another week !! ) for the Bad Girls Top Designer 2008 contest . This weeks assignment was " Less is More" .... we had to make a white space layout with balance and unity. I really like this one, i used that cool black and bright contrast again, i think it really makes the layout pop and stand out , which is good i guess !! Bad Girls : Class Two

I know, bad blogger once again !! This is my entry for this weeks class in the Bad Girls Top Designer 2008 contest . This weeks assignment was to use the color pallet from your photo as your patterned papers. I IMMEDIATELY knew what i wanted to do and i was so glad to see that nobody else had thought of it first before i got to do my layout, lol. I also wanted to once again stay true to my scrappy style .....i wanted to use a black and white photo and add one layer of color in photoshop and then use the black and whites with the orange. Im really enjoying the contest and i am really pleased with this layout also . So much talent its amazing , some of the people's stuff looks like stuff you would see in an art museum !!

Ok, well im going to continue to be a bad blogger and only upload the Bad Girls entry. I will soon be amongst the regular bloggers again !! Just been a hectic week, lots going on, plus i had a sick cat . Have a great weekend and i will catch up with everyone soon.

Ok , i know i know, i still have a tag and a blogger award looming out there which i swear i havent forgotten about, just been a bad blogger ! Im still going to be a bad blogger by writing very little right now, but i will be back to update at least by the weekend for sure. This is my entry for "CLASS ONE" of the 2008 Bad Girls Top Designer competition . I stayed true to my own scrap style for the contest . I didnt want to scrap something just to scrap it. Im very happy with the way this turned out . The Class was layering . You have to layer 2 different elements on your page so i chose paper and flowers. This is one of my favorite color combos too . There are like 300 amazing scrappers in the contest so i dont have high hopes of advancing real far, but it super fun anyways !! Gotta love Bad Girls !!

September Already ?! WOW !!

Can you believe it is already September ?! Though i cant complain because i love the fall, it is my favorite season hands down, that crisp fall air , the long sleeves with no jackets , the mum, Halloween, Thanksgiving , must i go on ?! lol .... AND it is also my favorite scrappy time of year . They have out the best products for fall i just love it ....

Ok, well anyways, here are a couple stray layouts from random late nights over the past week . Been pretty hectic, the little guy had his second surgery on Friday, that went ok , it was the car ride home that was UGLY with a capital U G L Y !!!! Words cant even describe it really so i will leave it at that , but that is a car ride i hope to never endure again . Geesh !! But he is ok and his usual self for the most part now.

Hope everyone had a relaxing Labor Day, ours was unique , we drove up to North Jersey so Nikolas could see traffic lights that he sees on YOU TUBE . I know, dont ask . But it makes him happy so he and I went with my mom and Gary . It was nice , he said he had so much fun seeing those traffic lights, lol .... now i will let you in on the punchline, the town that he saw online was actually in COLORADO NOT NEW JERSEY !?!?! BUT we managed to cover it up well, i dont think he was wise to us, though there was one that he "didnt see" , lol ...... Again, now you see why it is a "Life Less Ordinary" with these little guys , lol ..... And all from a piece of Scenic Route chipboard, lol . Seriously though, a peice of chippy from the Laurel line said that, and it reminded me of autism and us, so i made a layout of Nik with it, and Jeanette and i always said that it was the perfect saying for my life. She always says that its the title for the book i should write with all the Nikolasisms specifically. Just thought i would share that little funny. On a side note Crystals bday was on the day of Michaels surgery so we just had a quiet Sunday with birthday cake, always yum !!

Well, off to calm the natives and wind down for the night .... late night that is. I will be back soon . Hope to get some scrappiness done this week, right now im in the process of moving all my scrappy stuff to a new location in the house, lol , though i think it will be more organized this way, so right now im getting to look at all the gazillion cool things that i have and kinda forgot . AND , i am determined to fit in book time again and finish Breaking Dawn . That just kinda got pushed off with everything going on with Michael . There was an unpleasantry last weekend too where my thumb wound up a little worse for wear too !! No comment, lol ....

Have you heard about this yet ?!?!?! Im sooooo mad, MIDNIGHT SUN may never be completed or published, WHAAAAT ?!?!? ..... Some jerk got a hold of the manuscript and distributed it illegally over the internet and now Stephenie Meyer says she doesnt know what she will do , here is a direct quote from here off her website ..... SO UPSETTING !!!! But she does make the draft available for reading online, still sucks though !!!! :

As some of you may have heard, my partial draft of Midnight Sun was illegally posted on the Internet and has since been virally distributed without my knowledge or permission or the knowledge or permission of my publisher.
I have a good idea of how the leak happened as there were very few copies of Midnight Sun that left my possession and each was unique. Due to little changes I made to the manuscript at different times, I can tell when each left my possession and to whom it was given. The manuscript that was illegally distributed on the Internet was given to trusted individuals for a good purpose. I have no comment beyond that as I believe that there was no malicious intent with the initial distribution.
I did not want my readers to experience Midnight Sun before it was completed, edited and published. I think it is important for everybody to understand that what happened was a huge violation of my rights as an author, not to mention me as a human being. As the author of the Twilight Saga, I control the copyright and it is up to the owner of the copyright to decide when the books should be made public; this is the same for musicians and filmmakers. Just because someone buys a book or movie or song, or gets a download off the Internet, doesn't mean that they own the right to reproduce and distribute it. Unfortunately, with the Internet, it is easy for people to obtain and share items that do not legally belong to them. No matter how this is done, it is still dishonest. This has been a very upsetting experience for me, but I hope it will at least leave my fans with a better understanding of copyright and the importance of artistic control.
So where does this leave Midnight Sun? My first feeling was that there was no way to continue. Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.
I'd rather my fans not read this version of Midnight Sun. It was only an incomplete draft; the writing is messy and flawed and full of mistakes. But how do I comment on this violation without driving more people to look for the illegal posting? It has taken me a while to decide how and if I could respond. But to end the confusion, I've decided to make the draft available here (at the end of this message on the Midnight Sun page). This way, my readers don't have to feel they have to make a sacrifice to stay honest. I hope this fragment gives you further insight into Edward's head and adds a new dimension to the Twilight story. That's what inspired me to write it in the first place.
I do want to take a moment and thank the wonderful fans who have been so supportive of me over the past three years. I cannot begin to tell you how much each of you means to me. Hey everyone , hope you all have a great holiday weekend, i will be updating later in the weekend, i havent abandoned the blog, lol , its just been hectic here, the little guy goes in for his last surgery in the morning. We have to leave here at 4:30 a.m. to be exact .... yup, you heard correctly. So anyone that i havent emailed back or called back , sorry, i didnt forget you . And to boot, there wont be a whole lot of sleep going on here being that we have to pretty much leave in the middle of the night and my dad is also coming to pick up the other 2 kiddos ( Happy Birthday to Crystal today, yup same day ) after 4 a.m. ..... I actually managed to do 2 quick layouts this week but havent had a chance to upload, was kinda a late night whim , i will include them in my update. TTY all soon :)

Hi Everyone ! I just wanted to put up a quick post cuz its been a few and also the layouts are starting to pile up ! I know some of you comment on how much scrapping i get done, really its because i guess im a fast scrapper and i scrap LATE at night alot . There is no way i would get to scrap hardly ever if i relied on having to do it during the day ! The only time that normally happens is if Jen is over or something , otherwise ..... late at night or at someone else's house ! LOL ....

This week has kinda gone by fast , i will type more next time , mostly wanted to upload layouts today. I also have been trying to finish my books ! Ever since Michaels hospital stint got my sidetracked i havent seemed to have had chunks of time to finish, so when do i do it ? LATE at night of course ! LOL .... But im on BREAKING DAWN so im psyched. Eclipse was a great book right to the very last page , just when i though nothing else was happening, there was ! LOL ...... And TWILIGHT the movie was moved up to November 21st which im sure alot of you know already.

OH ! And im sooooo glad i hooked so many of you on these books !! My friends Jen and Jeanette both started them after my blog rave about them, and also a few of my blogger friends Lilian and Iris also . Im so glad you love them too girls !!!! Iris read all 4 in like 4 days or something like that, you go girl !! LOL ..... ** i just noticed that i think i hooked Aimee and Aleica too ! HEHE ! **

Maybe because when i first started i didnt know exactly what i was doing so i didnt post alot till a couple months in, lol ..... Hi :) Just a couple of scrappy things that were laying around and didnt make the blog. The Nikolas and JoJo i did today , and the others i did last week before all the drama hit , lol .... I actually think i have a scrappy date tomorrow night with my 2 friends Mindy and Liz so i may have some creativity to share . I was on FIYAH a couple weeks ago, the layouts wouldnt stop coming, and then .... nada. That seems to be the way it goes ! LOL ......

Hope everyone is having a good week . Michael is doing alot better. He is recovering nicely , back to his ole' hyperactive high maintenance little self ! LOL .... Stinks that we get to do it all over again in 3 weeks ! Not under emergency circumstances at least !

I GO AND GET THIS !!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO !!!!! Im into Eclipse just like i said , how could i NOT be when i cant put these babies down ?! But im a little embarrassed by how excited i am to get my hands on this book !! Though i know im SO not ALONE !! How many of you are impatient like me and getting it tonight ? So many exciting things , the movie trailer for TWILIGHT looks so cool , and Stephenie Meyer said she isnt sure now if this will be the last book, just the last book on this "story", and the last book told from Bella's point of view, but she doesnt know if shes done with the characters yet. And MIDNIGHT SUN will be out in 2009 , also sooooo KEWL !!!! Its the retellings of TWILIGHT from Edwards point of view, how cool is THAT !! Ok enough, now i sound like a geek !!

AND THEN "BREAKING DAWN" COMES OUT ON SATURDAY , AND SATURDAY IS WHEN I SHALL OWN IT !! I WILL TOTALLY BE DONE WITH THESE 3 BY THEN CUZ I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. AT LEAST I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY STEPHANIE MEYER GEEK , I KNOW LOTS OF MY SCRAPPY GIRLS OUT THERE ARE JUST AS OBSESSED INCLUDING MY FRIEND JEN !! Scrap Happy and Im "IT" , LOL ....

Wow, was a scrap happy today !! Jen and Kayla came over here today and i was in shock that i got 6 layouts done, that NEVER happens on the weekday visits . I usually get like 2 done, AND i was really liking most of them alot too which also doesnt usually happen !! I was continuing to use the stash of all the goodies i have and love and forgot about . I used alot of stuff from various Noel Mignon kits (http://www.noelmignon.com/) , i love them !! And i think the rest is from some Bad Girls kits , love them too !! (http://www.badgirlskits.com/) . Im so proud of myself that i am using all my stuff, why the heck do i have it if i am not going to use it , right !?

We also bowled pretty good tonight ! Funny enough the opposing team gave us bowling tips that helped us alot and we wound up winning ! I dont think they were so happy about it in retro , lol ....

Have so much stuff to do these days it seems like, i have to stay up half the night just to keep things tidy !! ( well i stay up anyways but that is besides the point !! ) I wouldnt have a clean house if that werent the case !!

Im going to see DAUGHTRY next week which im pretty excited about , it was kinda something that snuck up on me cuz ive had the tickets for quite a while!!

My little guys surgery is in a few weeks, im trying not to think about it till it gets closer cuz im not looking forward to it !!

Im also doing "Pounds for Dough" with some of my online scrappy friends , im really happy i signed up for it , thanks to my scrappy friend Aimee for pointing me in the direction, thanks Aimee ! I have been an on and off member of weight watchers with my friend Kelly now for 2 or 3 years, and i just keep losing and gaining the same pounds . Im still down 10 or 12 over all but since i need to lose MUCH more than that it isnt really cutting the mustard anymore ! I need that push to get back to "ME" , KWIM ?! And let me tell ya, having to stand on the scale every week, PHOTO my weight and POST it online is a REAL motivator !! I still cant believe i actually posted my weight on an online site, pretty darn scary , i NEVER wouldve thought i would agree to that !! But there it is in black and white !! Thank goodness its only open to invited readers !! That wouldve been a deal breaker for me !! Thanks to K-Liz too for setting it all up for us , good luck to everyone in it including myself !! LOL ....

Late Night Scrappin' Saturday :)

Hope everyone is staying cool ! It is HOT HOT HOT here in NJ this past couple days, just about 100 degrees, yikes ! Anyways, i got to scrap tonight with my friend Mindy . I had a great time and got alot done i think for only 4 hours including chit chat and all. I just love the first one "LAUGH" of Michael. He just takes the best photos randomly, which is good since he doesnt communicate so im lucky that he is just naturally photogenic ! LOL ..... I broke out the Doodle Genie on that one , hadnt used that in forevah ! But that all goes with enjoying the things i forgot i had and loved ! Still enjoying the stash . The one of Kayla used some SEI stash that i totally had forgotten i even owned, but im so glad i found it cuz i love those colors.
Not a whole lot , today flew by like i couldnt even believe, the whole week has been like that as usual. Michael has had a couple ROUGH sleep days this week. Today i think was the worst of the week, he woke up after 3 1/2 hours, WHAAAAT ?!?!?! Fortunately i WAS able to get him back to sleep or that wouldve even been an uglier scene cuz he wouldve been SO tired all day ! Though he was up for like 4 hours before i got him back to sleep, but it all worked out ok, he didnt sleep TOO late into the day so it should be ok. I was exhausted , but hey, par for the course i guess ! LOL ....

I am just in love with some of the new papers that came in the July BAD GIRLS kit. I just love these die cut Noteworthy papers and the awesome colors in the Sassafrass. I used this awesome big orange flower from a past Bad Girls kit on the Girlz Just Wanna Have Fun layout, ive been dying to use that flower and this paper from this month went perfect . Also i have been so wanting to use my Henrietta the Owl i bought from Zany Zinnia a while back and this paper excited me cuz i knew i would finally get to break her out ! I love this photo of Michael and my dad too :)

So what else ? Not alot, it was my dad's bday , so we had dinner and cake with him , scrapped today a little when Jen and Kayla came over . Fortunately my little guy woke up happy today so he didnt attack us while we scrapped this time , ROFL !!

Way too hot here this week and the weekend isnt supposed to be much better . Not doing a whole lot , we are out of the boys sleep meds so it will be one big partay here tonight until my dad brings me some tomorrow ! LOL ....

The little cutie from behind a couple years back, still just as big a Thomas fan now as he was then ! My mom gave me this big photo to scrap so i didnt think it needed much .
So here are like a ton of layouts once again !! I tell ya when it rains it pours, i either cant squeak out 3 or 4 in 2 weeks or i crank out like 30 of them !! LOL .... I was at a Fundraiser Crop over the weekend so it gave me the opportunity to bulk scrap, but i also had a friend overnight this week and we scrapped with my other friend Jen for a few hours, so it was a good scrappy week.

Hope everyone had a great weekend . My littlest guy has been rather cranky lately but hopefully that turns around this week ! He seems a bit better today. Think he knows his poor little area needs 2 surgeries ?! Didnt think so, just funny how he's been in a mood ever since, maybe he's irriated or something from so many different people/ doctors poking him !! I guess that would make anyone a bit cranky ! LOL ....

Nothing exciting, just trying to brave the bad mood week. Nikolas and Crystal came to root us on this past week for our bowling league and boy did Nikolas have a BLAST !! I got sucked into bringing him at the last minute cuz he was having a meltdown that he couldnt come with me, and i was SO AFRAID it was going to disrupt everyones game, but he was WONDERFUL, i mean really really WONDERFUL, i was so happy and impressed.

DH got another friend to get into the SCUBA thing. DH gets mad that i dont think its safe and worry he's gonna get eaten by sharks or something ! Im trying to be supportive, just seems so dangerous to me ! I guess im not a water person to begin with, especially not that kind of water thing ! YIKES !

OH ! Talk about a fabulous find ! My friend Jeanette found the most AWESOME letters for a DOLLAR at Target ! Unfortunately it was a Target about an hour away from here , but she got a couple packs, they are like THICKERS ! A Dollar, and they are SO MUCH better than the Dollar Tree ones that were out last year. My CELEBRATE layout from the fireworks is those letters. And i also think they were for the 4th cuz they only came in red and blue, so we probably wont be seeing them again any time soon. Thanks Jeanette ! They rock !

TWO Surgeries ?!?!?! WHAAAAT ?!?!?!?

Look at Michaels cute little blueberry covered face ! Anyways........ my little cutie saw the specialist with his films and reports and he has to have TWO surgeries ! Not like i wasnt already unhappy about one, but if they were a little "lower" he would be able to do it in one surgery, but since they are higher up and further out he can only do one side at a time. The inscisions will have to be in a much more active area of the body due to the location. UGH !!!!! **Also found out that he has a hernia on one side in ADDITION to the testes issues **AND , being autistic , he is quite sharp about places he has been and doesnt like so surgery number TWO he is going to be wise to it when we pull up, so not so good on that either . My poor little sweetie.....

What else, i have been organizing and cleaning big time, right now i am doing my scrappy stash, kits , everything. I must say it is VERY eye opening . I am so happy i did this , except that i cant believe the size of the stack of paper that came out of KITS ONLY , its really bad, i should photograph it. You wont believe your eyes, lol ...... But i am finding the stuff i loved once and forgot about , so that is what i will be playing with for a while. Im trying to encourage organization in my friends too ! LOL .....

Wow !! Look at all this stuff !! LOL ..... Where to start , well lets start with my poor little Cutie Pitutie Michael. Im so stressed out and trying not to thing about it , but in a nutshell he went to his well visit and it was just discovered that he has undescended testes and needs surgery the ultrasound confirmed. Backstory if you dont know is that Michael is 6 and autistic, so my stress factor is also how he will fair with the recovery ! UGH ! I have to take him to the specialist Monday to schedule the surgery. DH says to relax, but its never easy when one of your babies needs surgery ! I remember what a nervous wreck i was when Nikolas was right around the same age and needed hernia surgery ..... Sad face :( ....

Ok , now for the slew of photos and stuff up there ! They start with my friend Kelly's daughter Julia's 3rd birthday, look at that cake ! Then there was my friend Jen Kayla's 6th bday party, look at the cute little birthday princess ! Then there is my friend Mindy that i havent seen in a couple months just because my life seems to have gotten so crazy i felt like i had no time for anybody for a while, i hate when that happens . But i did , i just got so super busy . So we made a point to get together before more time passed, thats what it takes, just finding time for that first get together to get you back into your groove, KWIM ?! She is with her DD Ava in one of the photos and my cutie Michael . The younger cutie is her daughter Ryanna. Oh, and did Michael LOVE that huge rocking horse. I was floored to find out that Mindy's FIL made it ! Can you believe that !? The thing is absolutely GORGEOUS, and Michael LOVES to rock !

Last but not least there are photos from tonight , we got together with Jen and her fam along with another set of friends to watch fireworks . We camped out in the shopping plaza to watch them and the kids had a great time. Kayla just loves Crystal , these photos came out great ! Nikolas was just preoccupied waiting for the fireworks. Michael is terrified so he and the DH stayed home.

And Happy real birthday to Kayla and Peter , my friend Jeanettes son today. I actually also had 2 quick visits to Jeanettes house this week but we didnt take any pics so that is why its not in "My week in photos" LOL .... but i did make a few of these layouts there, mostly the ones made with my friend NoelMignon's Treehouse kit. I am LOVING that kit, she is sold out , but has some other great kits that just came out this week. The layout of Kelly is actually from our trip to the mall this week....

Look ! It's the Recipe Diva Jen ! LOL .... its kinda a joke that goes back a few months b/t Jeanette, Jen and myself and now Jen is forever our Recipe Diva ! Michael out front doing a Happy Dance as his brother throws water balloons around. It has occured to me that ya'll may wonder why my child dresses so bizarre, its second nature to me now so i dont think about it, but he is autistic and wears a sleeper so he cant get at his poopies, lol, and the shirts he eats the collars on , so we go through lots of cheap shirts ! So i dont dress him like that by choice in case ya wondered about it :)
Robyn : Is that natural !?!?! So funny, my dad asked me that when he saw her bright red hair color " Does she think that looks natural ?" , and shortly after Robyn mentioned that it wasnt her normal color so i told her what my dad said and we crack up about it all the time out of the blue.

This is my friend Jeanette's daughter Mandy. I loved the photo and just love it so nice and clean and simple.
This is from the picnic last weekend of Nikolas and a friend he knew from one of his old therapies Skylar. We run into Skylar and his mom periodically and always say we are gonna get together and never do but this time we got all each others info ! LOL .... Skylar also has autism. Nikolas looks so cute and silly in the getup the clown at the picnic put on him. I was also having fun using up some remnants from Noel's debut kit from back in October, that was one of my favorite kits of all time.

Family Guy fans will appreciate the "CHILAXIN" title, but that is what this photo of Nikolas sitting out front said to me as soon as i saw it ! Also some goodies from the Debut kit stash .

WOW !! Has digging into my stash really gotten me on a mojo roll !!!! I dont think i have made this many layouts since scrap weekend . Though if it werent for the middle of the night i wouldnt be getting to scrap this much , lol .... I am still really enjoying scrapping with all my forgotten goodies . I have even a couple more but i dont think im going to put them up, i have some actual scrappy time upcoming and i will have those to put up soon. Not really a whole lot since i just updated last night, lol .... blogging twice in 24 hours is also an amazing thing !! So here are some more layouts i have been working on over the past couple of weeks. I am really enjoying using stuff from my stash . I am on a quest to not buy much. Notice i dont say NOTHING, but im definately cutting down because i really like the stuff in my stash and i will never use it if i keep overloading my stuff, lol .... I THINK Jeanette and Jen are kinda on board with me on this . Jeanette wants to up our scrap days this summer to use more of the stash ! The stash is HUGE let me tell ya !

So what else .... not alot, Michael has been sick with these ears forever it seems , but the doc says that they look good . So hopefully he will stay on the happy side ! Nikolas has been obsessed with water balloons and water gun fights ever since the picnic , so we have had alot of soaking wet clothes here, lol . Just the busy everyday stuff really that just seems to fly by before i know it . I dont really know what it is that has made that seem more the case the past few months, maybe the kids are just more demanding or something , but time sure does fly lately !

There is no cure for Chiari but the surgery is a must to avoid such nerve conditions as paralysis as i understand it. MAGIC : My dad being the volunteer of a magic demo that my brothers friend did at Thanksgiving, lol . For those of you that dont know, my brother is magician as his second job, he travels all over to perform with his friends . Everything except the title is from a past BAD GIRLS kit . The letters are red glitter Teresa Collins Glitterz . I just wish you could see the SAY IT WITH CRYSTALS around the flower better. The flower just looks like its floating in the photo, but not so in person, lol ....

Ok, so still loving my new blog ! LOL .... Well its late so im not going to make the monster long post, im gonna break it up cuz really i have tons of photos from today and also tons of layouts from the week and a few that i havent posted . Mostly nice simple ones. I seem to always go back to that :)

Today was the POAC picnic, which is a HUGE bash at a local college for autistic children and thier famililes. They have it every year and it is wonderful. There are tons of those big blow up things, free food, free snacks, drinks, games , you name it ! I got lucky and DH was able to come home early so i didnt have to bring Michael. He is scared of clowns and large crowds, this event has both ! My dad came over till DH got home. So myself, Nikolas, Crystal , my mom and my friend Heather went . Nikolas had a BLAST ! He made " Auntie Heather " go on everything ! LOL ..... I will attach a pic or 2 along with a couple of my layouts :)

On a side , not so pleasant note , Michael will be going BACK to the doctor monday to see Dr. Steve it would seem. He was there LAST Thursday, had 2 ear infections , and they gave him meds. Well 5 days later, i can clearly tell there was still pain in the ears. So they changed said meds, to some DISGUSTING gritty one that he keeps puking up due to gagging . That was after the pharmacy not having it in stock for 2 days. So i think being that tomorrow is Sunday, we will just head back to see Dr. S on Monday and see what he can do. Either give him a med he will like that works, or perhaps my friend Jeanette says some docs can give anitbiotic shots , that would be ok with me , shot . done. We shall see i guess !

Well, i will go for now . Way tired, and with just cause being that it is 2:30 a.m., lol .... Hope you are enjoying your weekend, i will be back within the next day to put up more stuff .

Scrappiness and Sadness ....

Well i was on a MAJOR scrappy roll today ! I made 6 layouts with the June Crop Addict kit , and one with some stash . I was totally in love with the colors in the Little Yellow Bicycle Zach's Life Papers !!!!

Though on a very very sad note ..... my wonderful friend Jen's mom, Carole, passed away on Sunday. So very fast since she was diagnosed with her illnesses, so maybe tonight everyone can say a little prayer for her and her family . She was the nicest woman you ever want to meet and would do anything for anyone. God Bless you Carole ....

Not a whole lot right now , just wanted to share that and some of these layouts . Busy week, just trying to stay cool in this 100 degree heat . The A/C is running non stop !

I will update more soon im sure . I think this is my shortest post ever !

Hot and Scrappy weekend :)

So could it have been any hotter this weekend !? I think it was really the soup like air, it was so thick and muggy out ! I think it was 97 on Saturday they said . Good thing i had a scrappy weekend to stay inside and stay cool ! LOL .....

Saturday Jen and my mom came over and we scrapped, i did 4 of the above layouts then, and the other 3 i did today at my friend Laura's house, which was also super fun !

Went to a scrappy store i had not ever been to today with Laura, i was very proud of myself , i bought very little really ! Though i did get a few Fancy Pants papers that i really like !

Saturday night was also a RETURN TRIP to Chucke E Cheese , yes ... a return trip ! We were there Thursday and Nikolas already had the return planned, so i just went with him and DD while the hubs stayed home with Michael . Michael doesnt care much for LOUD places like that !

Not a whole lot else, really i have just been scrapping for the most part, when the heck does that ever happen both days in a row ! Im not complaining though !

Tomorrow i have to go back to the dentist to try and fine tune my bite, i feel like im SO CLOSE yet SO FAR ! LOL ...... I cant wait to be DONE , like completely ! Im having high hopes that it will be tomorrow ! Im pretty sure at this point he is hoping the same !

I just started reading Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, if you havent heard of her and these books you must be living under a rock , lol ..... she must be thrilled at what a huge success her books have become ! She also just released a new book called THE HOST that im gonna borrow when Jen is done with it , she's now hooked as well !

SO happy Friday everyone ! Hope you have something fun planned for the weekend. By a MIRACLE i will actually be scrapping 2 days this weekend ! That is 2 weeks in a row, that never happens ! Saturday Jen is coming over and we will be doing our weekly scrap thing, and Sunday i am going up to see my friend Laura and we will be scrapping the day away !! We are going to hit the LSS too ! So woohoo to that also !

Monday was my LAST sedation dentist appointment and THANK GOODNESS for that ! I was just getting so tired of the whole teeth/dental thing ! All for some old large fillings and a couple root canals ( my first ever ) . But im only in a little bit of discomfort that i am attributing to the sore gums around the teeth . So i have high hopes ! I have one more bite adjust on Monday and then im hoping all is quiet and i wont see him until my check up in Sept ! Music to my ears !

Not a whole lot else . Just been keeping busy , between my new bowling league with Jeanette, kids , and all the daily stuff, my weekly get together with Kelly , scrappy day with Jen, the week has just flown ! We went to Chuck E Cheese tonight and Nikolas had a blast playing all the video games ! Im so glad he's out of the yicky germy tube phase and into the game phase ! Im an admitted germ phobe ! LOL ....

Oooooh ! Not that some of you care about the make up like me but i got some really cool new MAC makeup ! I love the stuff and cant get enough ! Its a bit pricey and it doesnt help that i shop for it with my friend Kelly who is also addicted to it , so she totally enables me ! Its bad !

Not a whole lot else , just wanted to update and say hi , i knew i would be scrapping alot this weekend and would be posting again early next week so i wanted to post these few from last weekend. I may even actually get to scrap with Robyn in the next couple days, she isnt around much with her work schedule so that will be cool too, been a long time since we scrapped, i THINK it was back in November when Sugardumplin had their crop ! MAYBE once since then .

Again, kudos to the Sex and the City movie, i just cant stop mentioning it ! LOL .....

Can you believe it is June already ?!?!? I cant ! I can remember the year starting ! Its rained pretty hard here today , which scares the bejebers out out Nikolas, he is so scared of storms its not even funny !
So these are some layouts from today . Jen and i scrapped while watching kids and cats be terrified of thunder and lightening, and a minor power outage ! But hey, die hard scrappers are we ! LOL ..... I just ADORE the YOU MAKE MY HEART SMILE layout, i dont know what it is , i just LOVE it though . I also will get to scrap tomorrow with Jeanette so im pretty scrap fortunate this weekend ! That doesnt happen often 2 days in a row !
Speaking of Jeanette, we had SO MUCH FUN bowling on Tuesday, i cant wait till this Tuesday to do it again, aside from the pain your hand and fingers are in until they get used to it !
Monday is actually my last sedation dentistry visit, they called and moved me up . I think becasue they cant wait to get rid of me cuz i keep having so many sensitivity issues ! LOL .... My bite still isnt right and is making my crowns that are finished feel weird, but i didnt want to go crazy thinking ahead knowing that i will need a bite adjustment when this side is done Monday . So cross your fingers for me ! LOL .....
Friday i may be going to a Pampered Chef party so that will be cool if it happens, and Sunday i am pretty psyched cuz i will be scrapping all day and night with Laura , woohoo ! Im going to her house for the day and i know we are going to have an awesome time . I am really looking forward to it.
Hmmm, what else ? I put in a last minute application to Crop Addict for their DT call. Let me further explain .... im not really into applying for lots of DT's , just becuase i dont have the time to just devote to boards i am not actively involved in , and i really only am devoted to one or two and Crop Addict is the main one because i just love it there. Some of my friends are there that i knew from Sugardumplin where i was the team coordinator, and i just LOVED it there and it was so sad when she closed. But i found a new home in CA and love everyone there , i couldnt ask for a better community to try out for and the kits are packed with papers its unreal ! Its the best of both worlds there for me, i have old friends AND new ones. Like my friend Laura i mentioned above , where did i meet her ? CROP ADDICT ! LOL ..... so we will see what happens, wish me luck, but i will still be over there regardless ! Good luck to everyone who applied , i dont envy the decision making process over there !
Well, i guess that is all because i hear the thunder kicking up again which means i will have a panicked child out here any second ! Im going to go have coffee too , yes this late at night ! Because i cant have ANY tomorrow because of Monday's sedation ! Though i may have to drink a decaf K cup or 2 , none is rough for me cuz its such a part of my day ! LOL ...... Told ya i was addicted to the Keurig !

Hi everyone ! Happy Memorial Day ! Hope everyone had a great day today, boy it was unusually hot here today . I had plans to take Nikolas out for the day with a friend and her daughter . He has been counting the sleeps for like 6 days now , he was so excited he only slept like 2 hours last night ! It was fun, i got this new color of MAC lipglass that im LOVING and these cool dipe and wipe sacks at Nordstrom for my purse and my car that i have been eyeing for a while now !

Anyways, here are a few more layouts that i did over the weekend . The one of my mom and I is just a quick simple layout that i liked just the way it was so i left it be . 4 of the 5 are made for the most part with Crop Addict kit contents from May , along with some added goodies from my enormous stash ! LOL ....

Not a whole lot going on . I start my bowling league tonight with my friend Jeanette. Just to clarify , i suck at bowling for the most part, but i know it will be tons of fun ! Im looking forward to it :)

I also have to return to the DDS YET AGAIN tomorrow, well at least i hope he takes me tomorrow to adjust my bite A~GAIN ! And i still need the rest of my crowns in 2 weeks and get to go through the whole adjusting the bite thing all over ! I cant WAIT for this to be OVER . Im not really sure that i wouldve gone for getting all my teeth done at once had i known it would be this much of a hassle/pain/ pain in the butt/ emotionally draining experience ! Dental issues are frustrating cuz they radiate and mask themselves to where you cant even tell if the pain is something important or not ! UGH !!!!!!!! Im just counting the days till its behind me . I know in the long run i will be HAPPY that i did this all and am completely good to go, but i dont feel that way at the moment !

Oh and YAY to the SEX IN THE CITY movie opening on Friday . Happy that Carrie and the girls are coming to the big screen ! Will her and Mr. Big finally tie the knot ?! HOPE SO! My mom is also a fan so i will most likely see it with her .

And once again, even though i mentioned it last post i feel it is worth repeating , YAY DAVID COOK !!!!!!!

Ok well, i am tired tonight and feel like im somewhat talking in circles and jumping around from thought to thought, so i will sign off for now before i make no sense what so ever ! Maybe i will be back sooner than ya think ! I've been pretty good the past week or two keeping up with the blog ! LOL ....

Feels like forever since Jeanette and I were Friday Night Scrappers !!!! LOL .... Probably hasnt been as long as i feel like it has been, but its been a few weeks at least !! Our DH's and another friend all went to a Yankees game tonight, so the kids and I headed on over to hang out and scrap , woohoo !! The kids were able to last the whole time till the DH's returned which was cool , so i got to make 4 of these layouts, and the other 2 i made earlier today with Jen :)
I mostly used the yummy papers from my May Crop Addict kit. They featured alot of Websters Pages which im a huge fan of ! They are such nice thick papers, great quality, and im all about the browns , which these were , which was extra cool ! I was also into inking with my white chalk in , it would up looking pretty cool on the dark paper .

Hmmm, what else ? I thought i had more dental drama, which quite frankly, im growing a bit tired of ! My DDS didnt have alot of info to offer though when i went yesterday, i dont think he wanted to stay late to be honest ! So i will see what the deal is next week, my mouth is being quieter than it was , so maybe i will be lucky , though that is not a word associated with me and the dentist lately ! My friend keeps saying she is just going to let her teeth rot cuz its too much trouble ! LOL ... i tend to agree at this point ! LOL ....

Hope everyone has a relaxing Memorial Day weekend . I dont have alot other than cleaning and Monday i have plans with a friend and her daughter i think . I hope to relax a bit, but one never knows ! LOL ....

I feel like im forgetting stuff but seriously its like 2:00 a.m. , so maybe my next post will be more intellectually stimulating ! LOL ..... Right now its purely scrappy talk, my brain is shut down on anything that requires thought ! Im a bit excited though that some of my scrappy friends are talking about a "retreat" in Alabama this summer, ive never been to Alabama, so im hoping to recruit my friend as a travel partner and do that ! That would be very cool !

Landscape Love !!!!

Ok so my friend Jeanette and I are hooked on the 11x 8 1/2 Lanscape layouts this week ! They are just so freeing to do and a nice simple change of pace. We both say that we consider ourselves more clean lined simple scrappers , but sometimes like to layer it on too . This size is a nice break from the layers , for me i just like the simplicity and the clean look of them . They are so quick to make too . All because our girl Martha Stewart had her landscape albums on clearance ! LOL ! I made a couple more but these were just a few of them . The "pumpkin" is a photo of Jeanette from the first year we met , lol ..... She has been waiting to see it pop up on a scrap page, lol , she knew it was inevitable .

There are also a couple of 12x12 's i did . Loving my new Crate Papers i just have to say, they are one of my new favorites ! Those layouts are below the post. The CHOCOLATE LOVER is one i actually did back on scrap weekend in Feb. that i never posted, LOVE that photo !

Not alot else exciting since i actually am posting just 2 days after my last post, that is really good for me !

I hope everyone is enjoying their week ! Dental discomfort is going a little better :)

OH ! With my birthday approaching i just wanted to put one last thing up .... this below is a photo of where my friend Robyn and i worked for years before i got married and stopped working . I almost FELL OVER when i looked at this photo and realized HOW LONG it has really been since i DID work here ! DH was on a pick up today up where my company was and he text messaged this to me today, i was like WOW ! And i sent it to Robyn, lol ..... It has REALLY been 14 years since i worked here and i can still remember it like yesterday when i look at this photo. Just goes to show that we really do have to appreciate and enjoy life to the fullest ..... like the blink of an eye ! WEIRD ! Good ole' Hayward ! If you have a pool the chances are you have a Hayward pump or filter in it, lol .....

Happy Belated Mothers Day girls !!!!

Hope everyone had a great relaxing day !!

So Monday was what i THOUGHT was my last sedation dentistry visit ..... i was WRONG !! Doc says that it was always planned like this, but really no it wasnt !! LOL .... he never said 3 visits. So i only got 3 of my perm. crowns and he says he orderd the other 3 and i will get them on June 9th , WHAAAAAT?!?? I dont know what happened there. BUT , as if i thought the falling apart fillings on that side were bad before, now they are REALLY fragile cuz they now have temps and the other side is done. This is not a good side for temps, so im just PRAYING this side stays "quiet" until the 9th, im really nervous that something will hurt or break so now i have to be more careful than ever !! Ok, well im done dental ranting, but these perm. ones feel strange at first , cant wait till they feel "normal" , lol .... i was already back to the DDS today for an adjustment that still feels odd, but i will just wait for the others i guess.

So above are 4 layouts i made with my April "SWEET PEA SCRAPS" kit , i love the distressed Graphic 45 papers in it ! The other one is with my new yummy Crate Papers !! Love all their new lines, i bought 3 of them from http://www.noelmignon.com/ . I also bought the ROBOTICS from Sassafrass, i love how their new papers have the decorative edges ! Also waiting for some Crop Addict goodies when Debbie comes back from vacation !!

So Saturday is my birthday, wooohooo, lol ...... The good ole' "THIRTYSOMETHINGS" , lol .... i think the hubs is having one or two of my friends over ,and my brother and parents probably . I think my REBEL was my main gift for this year ! But i may get a Michaels gift card or something . Im really loving lots of the new K and Company paper pads they sell there ! They also have a cool SEI and Me and my Big Ideas pad too , like i need them, right !?!? LOL !!!! I also just got a really cool Lisa Bearnson Hall of Fame kit. I know alot of scrappers dont like her, but i really do , and i make the kits my own, i dont do them at all like she shows, but these are really nice ! Jeanette ordered one today too, woohoo girlie, you are gonna love it !

Ok, off to sleep ! I just found that i also have several layouts from "Scrap Weekend" back in Feb. that i never uploaded that i will have to upload next time.

Playing with my Rebel ....

Hey everyone :) Just a quick update and hello. Tonight i went over my friend Jen's house with Nikolas to watch her daughter Kayla while her and the hubs went to see Van Halen . I brought my camera with me ( If you dont know i recently got a digital SLR ) so that i can play around. I really dont know what im doing yet, but im playing around with my 50mm close up lens. By the way Jana, thanks again for the tip on that lens girlfriend , i LOVE it !! Anyways, Kayla was a MORE than willing subject , she was really digging modeling for me !! LOL ..... Nikolas is just always SO difficult to get a good shot of , he has a tendancy to either look at something else or flare his nostrils and raise his eyebrows, so its exciting to ever get a halfway non-goofy shot of him ! But Kayla really came out great in some of them, i took a few of the best ones to share with you. I actually packed my car full of scrap-crap too , but never wound up bringing it in to scrap because it was raining hard and i didnt want to ruin my stuff , so i brought it back home and here it sits hoping i will take it out and scrap ! Maybe i will ! LOL ..... Im really itching to dig into some of my BAD GIRLS kits that i havent gotten to use alot recently, they are so gorgeous and i always seem to save them for last ! LOL .....

Oh, and i spent FOREVAH making these slide shows of my layouts, cards, etc .... and i was excited that i found the option to put it vertical in the side bar , i couldnt figure that out the first time . I saw on my friend Kelly and Kims blog's that they had them vertical and i was determined to find it ! lol .....

Ok, just wanted to update real quick and wish all your girls a WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY !!!!!! Hope you have fun not matter what you are doing . Monday i get to go and finish up the dental work , feels like its been forever since my last visit ! Maybe i will surprise myself and update again over the weekend, if not it will be early next week . Thanks for stopping by !

Keeping it Simple :)

Just a quick update and a few layouts i did. Do you ever find it stresses you out " online scrapping " and feeling like you have to worry about what embellies to pile on ? I hate that ! I really like the clean simple look alot of times , kinda just going back to scrapping for me . I love these layouts , and i kept them very basic .

Not a whole lot exciting, i just have to clean and all that fun stuff ! I am doing really well on my new healthy eating ! I have lost 16.8 thus far and would like to lose alot more ! I think this COULD be the time, we shall see . I go to the DDS on Monday for my crowns and then im all done, woohoo !

Oh, and im pretty excited that my friend , myself and her DH are going to join a trio bowling league ! I stink at bowling but really like it so i say sure ! That starts in a couple weeks. Im just trying to get in shape for the summer months for once, tired of waiting till "next year" ....

Hmmmm, nothing else really . Just need to start scrapping more again so i can use ALL THIS STUFF i keep accumulating like crazy ! LOL ....

I will update more later , just felt like it had been a while !

Quick Update and some layouts :)

Hi ! Just wanted to pop in with a quick update and a couple of layouts. Sometime over the next 2-4 weeks ( im on a waitlist) a lady Jennisa that designed my friend Haley's blog is going to redo my blog so you should all be able to access it then. I know with these free blogger templates i found , some people havent been able to see the left side of my blog , so once my turn comes up i will be back to a normal blogger template with her pretty HTML touches and nobody should have a problem. My friend said for now a hint is that you can access my posts through the "blog archives" by posting on the current topic. I know its a pain, but i would have to erase everything to start all over again, so its easier just to wait for Jennisa ! lol ....
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I got to meet a scrappy friend of mine , Laura, and im SO glad i did, i love her, we had a great time and we discussed doing it more often , i think we are going to try and scrap together next with another friend of hers, and online friend of mine, Gabi . I cant wait ! I have to upload the photos we took of ourselves, although im not digging the way i came out ! The sun was in my eyes or something because im squinting so bad in them! LOL ..... Anyways, i have to be quick today cuz im so behind and have to go out shortly, but heres a couple quick layouts :

This is my friend Robyn. I really went simple on this one and i really like the simplicity. Sometimes i like that and sometimes i like it more complex . Its titled ALWAYS FRIENDS cuz we have been friends since we were 10 years old !

Update on the "non eating diet" , lol ..... i really am not missing the food, its weird, and i am down 12 pounds now and counting , woohoo ! When i went out with my friend Laura guess what i had ? SOUP ! and when i went out with my friend Kelly yesterday .....SOUP AGAIN ! Lol ..... Im really getting used to SOUP !

Hi Everyone, hope you all had a great weekend ! I dont have any layouts to share today, although i realized that i do still have a bunch of simple layouts from scrap weekend in Feb. that i forgot to upload, so those will be coming ...... But i have a couple pics from the weekend that i took with me camera , we had a little party, more like a dinner, for my little guy :) It was really nice, we had a great time . My friends Robyn and Jen were there, i kept it REALLY small, everyone commented they liked it so much more than when i have 40 people crammed. Only took me 6 years to learn that he doesnt like large crowds ! LOL .... We all Keurigged too which was fun ! Lol ..... There were a couple others i wouldve liked to have too, it was just kinda last minute, wasnt sure till right before that i was even having a get together. Michael could care less really ! LOL ....

I still have my friends daughter over, she isnt much trouble at all so i dont mind. Though sad face, i dont get my scrappy day with Jen this week cuz her hubs is on vacation ! Jeanette was supposed to come to the party but its rough with all her kids sports .

Not a whole lot exciting, im totally out of dental pain, he root canaled a third tooth right then when i went in and to my surprise i was remarkable ok not sedated ! I really like it there . I have the last of my stuff finished up on May 12th, cant wait , i should be back on solids just in time for my birthday on the 17th , lol ...... Im still on a self induced liquid / soft diet of soups, shakes and cream of wheat . I just dont want to chance breaking anything temporary ! Though im looking at it as a nice jump start back into Weight Watchers. I never really stopped going , but havent really been losing for a while ...... now with MY diet, lol .... since April 8th when i had the sedation im down 9 pounds , woohoo ! I hope it keeps up ! Im sure im less calories than WW would say, but i think only by a couple hundred, ive been trying to have at least one "fattier" shake a day so im not completely fat free or anything .

There she is again ... Lucy ! She certainly is an Attack Cat ! I must say i ADORE the Twelve Fridays papers, i have been using them so much lately without even realizing it , i just find myself grabbing for them !
My brother Rob and my step bro Anthony on Easter, playing this cool game called ZERTZ that we are now hooked on , i just got myself one from Amazon ! This was made with Twelve Fridays Papers too !
Ok, so aside from a billion layouts , what else ...... still in pain from the dental issues ! I have this sneaky feeling that the doc is going to say that i need a root canal on the back tooth that he prepped for a crown , that was the tooth that was just being cleaned out from an old filling on the backside and covered with a temp, I THINK that is the source of my pain, though so hard to tell cuz pain in the mouth radiates ! I was back there yesterday and i think im gonna call him tomorrow and see if i can come back in Thursday morning before DH goes to work so we can try to figure out for sure where the pain is coming from. He didnt seem worried yesterday but the pain is BAAAAAD when the Tylenol/Advil mixture wears off ! From no pain to extreme pain, go figure !

Ok, what else , as you see above i got some cool scrappy stuff, i also just got my new BAD GIRLS kit which is super pretty as usual ! And Jeanette ordered Big Bite cases for me and her , i never saw the need for the case for the small Cropadile , but i definately see myself needing the case for the big one. Its not as portable without the case .

Having a small dinner for my little guys bday this weekend , he doesnt like people to begin with , so it only took me 6 years to realize i need to stop inviting so many ! Though i am only eating soups and cream of wheat these days, so i will eat soup when everyone else eats Italian ! LOL ..... I really think i will find it interesting to see how much weight i can really lose in the next 4 weeks just by not being able to eat whatever i want , this can be the push i needed ! If i seriously do lose like 20 pounds from this there is no way i will go back , there could be a silver lining in my misery ! LOL .... Hey, i have to look for some good in my pain ! LOL .... Really the great part is that there is no thinking or choice, i just have to eat this way for now , so this is good .....

On a side note im pretty excited about the BIGGEST LOSER finale tonight and also American Idol, i watch one and DVR the other , i think tonight i will watch the BL first since its the finale. I really get inspired by the show and then dont know what happens, i get mad that i have WATCHED them lose all this weight ! lol .....

Ok well, i suspect when i hit "publish post" this is going to look rather lengthy with my babbling and all my layouts so i will cut it here !

Have a great week , never know , maybe i will set a personal blogger record and even update again this week ! Not making any promises, but i can think big !

Ok, i will be back in a little while with some layouts, just wanted to give a quick update on my "dentist survival" , i WAS in NO pain, but now im in LOTS o pain ! NOT GOOD ! And we cant quite place why ! Though i must say , right now as i sit here this is the longest ive not needed to take tylenol/advil mixture , maybe the pain will go as quickly as it came, because it came out of nowhere on Saturday i tell ya ! I was back there yesterday and everything appeared fine, so he told me to play it by ear and call back if it doesnt seem to settle down ....... never a dull moment, perfect for the person who is afraid of the dentist to begin with ! LOL ....
Ok, i will be back in a couple hours for a full post ....

OH, but on a side note, lets see if this jumpstarts some nice weight watching numbers for me , because im eating all homemade soups and cream of wheat until May 12 th when my permanents go on just so i dont take a chance of breaking anything , ive already lost 4 pounds, im hoping it keeps going down, that would be an awesome upside of all this cuz i have just been looking for that little push to get me started going down ! WOOOHOOO , well my sedation dentistry visit was today, and it wasnt bad ! Im so relieved ! And my dentist is beyone AWESOME, i have ZERO pain , zero anything, you would never know i was there, he is fabulous ! I am now not apprehesive at all for the second and final visit in a couple weeks for the permanent crowns. But today , seriously, i had root canals, fillings and molds and NOTHING . Wooohoooo !

WELL, and said ordeal has scored me some awesome goodies from the DH ! He can really be a total sweetheart sometimes, he just bought me the new phone just last week , and then brought home a Dooney And Bourke case for it !

Well now i should have the Canon Rebel in my hands tomorrow if it arrives on time. And the bag for it is already here, and i MUST SAY, that the brown AMM Vituri bag is SO much more gorgeous in person than online. Im so glad i went with this bag, it truly is beautiful. Thanks Jana ! And also thanks to Jana for the tip on that cool close up lens that i just purchased to go with my goodies ! And how can you beat the price for it ! Us enablers must stick together ! A little birdie told me my friend Kim has a Canon Rebel coming to her house this week tooo ! WOOOHOOOO KIM !

Ok, well, im catching up on everything so this was gonna be a short one, just wanted to give the ole dental update and show my goodies i am getting for my "non suffering" , lol ....... Supposed to be an early bday present too, wonder what i can get for mothers day ?! LOL ......

As Nikolas says " His Cool Cousins Austin and Aidan " Wow, i sure have been slacking on the blog lately ! I even had layouts to put up and just couldnt get it done this week ! I did 4 of these at the crop last Sunday, i mostly used my papers from Twelve Fridays on these . I feel like ive barely gotten to scrap at ALL lately, though i did make a discovery while i was at the crop , and that is that i NEED the Cricut Expression ! I was the one that kept saying " OH i dont see why anyone would need to make letters that big " , well the letters arent the draw ! ITs the cool HUGE Shapes, brackets , flourishes and all that, im now loving it !

On a not so exciting note, i am having sedation dentistry on Tuesday, i have not been to the dentist in FOREVAH ! I had such HORRID experiences, so i knew i had to seek out sedation , which you arent COMPLETELY asleep, but they say i wont remember it, so lets hope not ! I need to get a few old , large fillings crowned and then 2 root canals, which i have never had, again .... thank heaven for sedation ! Wish me luck and no pain !

Hmmmm, what else ...... I have a new phone coming tomorrow which im happy about, its the Black Cherry LG Chocolate , i like that it plays music and videos and all , we have had our current phones and plan for almost 2 years and decided it was time for a switch, so wooohooo .

I cant wait to get my new Bad Girls kit and my Sweet Pea Scraps kit ( Thanks Jana ! LOL ) .... Im also eyeing the Crop Addict kit too , love those girls !

Oh, i just ordered the new PageMaps book by Becky Fleck too , so im anxiously awaiting its arrival. I never really used stuff like that , but i realize everyone else does and i've been missing out ! And i also ordered this cool new game of strategy my brother got us hooked on called ZERTZ , its very cool, the theory is SIMILAR to checkers but much more strategic , we played it on Easter and now i need it !

The outside of my house needs help, im so glad it will be warm soon so DD and I can get out there and get our hands dirty, we didnt do much last year by way of gardening and i found it to be depressing without all the pretty colors of Spring and Summer !

We were supposed to be leaving for NC today, but we had to postpone our trip , probably June now . It will be cool cuz i will get to meet and have lunch with my scrappy friend Morgan when i go :)

Well i guess that's about all, im not all that exciting, just stressing myself out waiting for the dentist .... OH but before i leave i must leave you with my favorite layout story " GOOD TO THE LAST DROP .... NOT ! " ..... this is the story of the coffeemaker from Hell that we had in our room in Feb. for scrap weekend ! Keep in mind, Jeanette and i both just got the Keurig right before we left, which is coffee on demand basically, AND we both had that hidious illness for scrap weekend , which made us NEED coffee all the more . So we were psyched that our room had a coffeemaker .... WELL what a rude awakening, sick as dogs at 8 a.m. the next morning, hearing the coffee brew and FORTY FIVE Mintues later ....VIOLA ! A pot of coffee ! OMG, it seriously took that long to brew, it was one drop at a time rather than a steady flow ! So as a true scrapper would, i photoed and scrapped it !

Friday Scrap Mojo ~ Or NoJo ? And IVE BEEN TAGGED !

Ok so Jeanette and I scrapped last night with her Scrap Virgin DH Bill !!!! YES i did say that her DH scrapped with us, lol .... he actually did quite well i must say, lol .... So i only got 2 made last night , the first one , you will probably not understand unless i explain : This is the "Wicker Room " , where we were supposed to take a class on our scrap weekend which we both had the flu for to begin with .... well to top it off, we apparently were the only 2 that signed up for this class and NOBODY showed up ! NOT EVEN THE INSTRUCTOR ! So we thought it was just so fitting of the weekend to begin with , lol ..... NO class for you ! lol.... I still keep debating on whether to journal on the side of the circle but kinda like that way it looks without ?
This is of the cutie pitutie Michael , i took these photos of him the other night . I used an old Bad Girls kit, possibly October ? But i love the colors here and Michael just looks so darn cute ! lol .... He needs a hair cut but let me tell you that is no easy feat !

I just felt the need to do a quick update since the posts were piling up since my last one ! Lol .... I will probably be doing a more thorough update in the next few days :) On a side note, still enjoying KEURIGING ! Woohoo ! And i just ordered 50 K Cups of my new favorite flavor Blueberry, i never wouldve thought i would like it ! But i LOVE it !

Oh Christmas Tree ~ Yup, this was from our Christmas morning when we woke up at THREE OCLOCK IN THE MORNING for good ! Monkey Face ~ Nikolas making his little monkey face ! This is my favorite sheet of paper by October Afternoon, i had to have the whole pack for this peice ! lol .... Its an illness !

OH was i so sick ! I went to my scrappy weekend with Jeanette and we BOTH had some sort of flu/ upper respiratory thing going on , NOT FUN ! But still fun ..... lol ..... I actually did 17 layouts even though i was sick as can be , PLUS we went home at 5 a.m. on Sunday because of it, we just happened to have one productive scrappy day ! These are just my 5 favorites for now . Im still getting rid of the tail end of sickness. I only get "sick" once every few years really except for the sinus / allergy thing . But when the sickness gets me every few years, it gets me good ! And on a side note , i think im addicted to my new Keurig coffeemaker ! I cant get enough of it , its SOOOOO Cool, im drinking more coffee than ever with it ! BOY the first day i got it was i WIRED with a capital W ! I wanted to play with it so i had so much caffeine running through me that day ..... so funny !
Ok, well , i guess that is all for now ! I feel like i havent updated or been on blogs for evah ! I was leaving some love , and figured i better at least put some sort of small update on my own ! Hope everyone is having a good week and staying well ! Morgan, hope your little guy feels better soon ! My guys were sick all week and i know that is NO FUN ! I think im gonna be coming down your way the first weekend in April , gotta firm up my dates ! Told DH we better firgure it out soon, February FLEW by !
Ok, i better go to sleep now before im tempted to "Keurig" some more ! Jeanette and I joke that we have made a verb out of "keuriging" , lol .... she got one a couple days before me . Its so bad ! I must say that i am proud of myself that i didnt go kit crazy with all this months reveals though ! I was really happy that Lisa Bearnson finally did another layout kit though ! Jeanette, Jen T and myself all jumped on it . I know some people arent fans of hers, but i really like her layout kits ! Boy i have had the rare yet pleasant occasion to scrap quite a bit the past few days ! I actually have double this but blogger only lets you load this many ! lol ..... So i will be updating again soon, cuz THEN i will have TONS of stuff from my all weekend crop coming up that i am going to with Jeanette in Cape May , WOOOOOHOOOOO !!!! I use Websters pages on the Christmas morning and i just am in love with thier papers , they are soooo thick , what a great quality . On the Cheese LO of Nikolas i used Basic Grey Mellow , love the colors in that line ! The Brotherly Love i used Storytellers exclusive papers and Thickers, and Fancy pants chipboard, love thier chipboard. The Partay Girl is my friend Lisa, i used January Bad Girls kit for that . Love the fun colors . And the Girlz Night is me and my friend Andrea from a while back, i used this way cool home tape from Bad Girls for that strip under the photo . I love the pattern on the tape, i have a whole role so i will definatley be using alot more of it ! I just love scrappy products , dont you ?!?!?! Jeanette and I have discussed that we just want it all and we want to hoard it all too !?!?! Are you a product hoarder ? We had this conversation recently on Bad Girls , and we LOVE to sniff the papers and stamps !?!?! YES , you heard me right , but guess what ? We were so surprised to hear how many other scrappers love the smells too ! They were all closet sniffers ! That sounds so funny just writing it ! I dont know where the time has gone the past week or so, been trying to catch up on everything and catch up with everyone ! If i owe any of you an email or anything it will be coming soon ! Tryin' Something New ....

So i have always liked those pages i see some people do that have all blank space and just scrappy stuff in sections so i gave the minimalist thing a try ! I kinda like it ! It was weird cuz im all about balance and evenly weighting my pages ! They are always very "NEAT" , lol .... so this was a challenge for me to not be able to weight things evenly around the page ! Ive been into trying different stuff lately :) I borrowed the LITTLE BOY BLUE title from my friend Jana . She used it a while back and i knew i wanted to use it in the future ! Thanks Jana ! Just a quicky for today , who knows what i shall scrap next ! lol ....

MORE MOJO ???!!!

WOW, Major amounts of scrappy mojo going on this week ! I did SIX more layouts Friday night at Jeanette's house !! WOWZA !! But the 6th one didnt fit so i picked the 5 best ones. That seems to be how it works for me, either i barely get to scrap for a week or two , or im cranking the layouts out like crazy ! February is going to be like the best scrappy month of the year cuz we are all going on a weekend crop too on the 22nd, so some MAJOR layouts will be coming out of a whole weekend !
So i used various things on these layouts , some i used Websters Pages papers, which i am LOVING, they are gorgeous and so heavy , just love them. I got them in the last kit offered by http://www.sugardumplin.com/ before they close their kit club doors. She had such BEAUTIFUL kits too :( .... Actually i used the Webster's on all but one, the other is a sheet of Storytellers Club PP that i just think is gorgeous and really didnt need much else, didnt want to cover it up . I actually later added stickles to the flowers but never photoed it again .... I got to use the new "Jewelery Box" gold thickers on the Birthday Boy layout ! Jeanette and I got them from QVC, cant get enough of the Thickers, EVAH !!!! Oh yes, and my other new favorite product, Imaginisce Bling Blossoms !
Its been like a BAD GIRLS CHRISTMAS over here too , i found all these past Bad Girls Kits i TOTALLY wasnt expecting too ! I was so suprised when so many Willows girls answered me ! So now i must be conservative this week ! They are soooo BEAUTIOUS though ! And this months is the BEST ! Congrats to Iris from Bad Girls, she is on the cover of this months Memory Makers magazine ! A dream come true !

Midnight Mojo !!!!

Ok, so i was on a roll tonight ! Didnt even know i was gonna get to scrap at all was the best part !I used the Devoted Kit from http://www.noelmignon.com/ on the MY DUDE layout . I also used a handcut flower i stamped with a Stampin Up stamp, and some Scenic Route chipboard letters i bought from Noel's store . Loved using this kit ! I love black and white ! This was me and Nikolas on Halloween .
Also used DEVOTED kit on this layout with the same cutout stamped flowers, some bling and American Crafts Thickers. I just love this random shot i got of Michael on the love seat the other night. That little guy is so precious to me ! The sticker below reads " Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" , he is just so sweet he takes my breath away ! Love these digital paperie journalers that came in the kit too, need me some more of those !
This was also with mostly DEVOTED stuff , but i added red rick rack , brads, and the Scenic Route Chipboard alphabets too. Crystal is just so grown up now, she will be 17 already this year ! Bizarre .... Im loving the black and white , my favorite stuff to scrap with and with a splash of color .
This layout is of my friend Kelly . I used the GINGERSNAP kit from http://www.noelmignon.com/ , i had gotten it a couple weeks ago and havent gotten to get my hand on it till now . Im pretty excited that i have alot of scrappy ops coming up really soon though. This month is also the whole weekend crop down in Cape May that im going on with Jeanette, Wendy and Lisa. That is going to be soooo much fun ! And im gonna scrap all night long ! LOL ......
Hmmmm..... what else ? I have been OUT OF CONTROL on my new favorite site Willow Traders ! I registered last year when Jeanette told me about it and never explored, there is so much on there ! But more importantly , i was able to get some past Bad Girls Kits that were before i subbed ! YAY ! Just bought Novembers from ChrissyLe and i cant wait to get it ! Well i guess that is all for now ! Just wanted to post all the layouts i just pumped out during my midnight mojo ! lol ..... the first three, the kelly one is from a few days ago. Maybe i will scrap more today when Jen comes over , woohoo ! Im also scrapping late friday night. It goes in spurts really ! Well have a great weekend girls ! I think im gonna try my hand at Noel's Hometown challenge this week too, although we dont really have true "roots" yet, but i think i will just scrap something from home now .

Used Bazzzill and Scarlet Lime PP here , Creative Memories snowflake punch, AC Thickers ( Love those !) , thick lace trim ( Loving lace right now !) and Signo doodles ....
Used a mix of December and January Storytellers papers and alphabet on this, and used my new favorite flowers "imaginisce bling blossoms" with primas say it with crystals centers. Also one of my new favorite punches, i used my Stampin Up spiral punch ....

These were just a couple layouts i never posted from my all day crop on January 20th i went to with Jeanette, Robyn and Wendy. Did you check out the time on the EARLY Christmas Morning ? YUP ! Really says 3:08 a.m. , and Yes we did all get up then and open presents because "The presents have arrived " was what Nikolas came out shouting ! And YES , we did stay up ! Except the hubs went back to sleep for a nap of course ! lol...... On the top layout i didnt get to write above it, i used MME Frost PP , AC Thickers ( yay ! ) , bazzill, Adorn It twill , Bazzill basics brads ..... Just a quick note today, wanted to get these up before i make all new scrap goodies ! lol ...... Cant wait to get my DEVOTED kit from http://www.noelmignon.com/ that is on its way to me as we speak ! Im soooooo excited to use it ! Its all black and white which i LOVE !!!! I got my friend Jeanette hooked on Noel's site also !! STORYTELLERS LAYOUTS :)

Hey everyone :) I am posting some layouts made with Storytellers Club kits. For those that dont know what storytellers is, they are a kit club that have thier own exclusive papers and super cute die cuts . Just add some brads to the die cuts and they are so cute, and fast to make too . I love just going back to basics sometimes. I made some of these at an all day crop last Sunday and i think one or two of them i made last night scrapping with Jeanette and Wendy . Some of the pics in these are my favorites !

I was also recruited by my friend Jeanette to join Bad Girls kits . They are not like ST kits, they are very funky and different. I love scrapping in all different styles ! Depends if im in a simple mood or a funky mood . I am looking forward to getting my first kit in February ! woohoo !

Finally got my Christmas stuff down ! Feels like such a relief !

Oh and on a sad note, SugarDumplin' has decided to close the doors on the message board and kit club. She will still operate a scrappy store though , so give her a couple weeks and then check it out :) Thanks to all the girls that made SugarDumplin' a fun place to hang out and thanks to Clara ! The kits will end with Feb. , there are still a few Jan ones left and if you check on Feb 1st she may still have some of those for sale until the 15th as well.

Ok, well lots to do ! OH , and im going on a SCRAPPY WEEKEND , woooooohooooooo ! Im going with Jeanette, Wendy and Lisa and it should be SOOOOO much fun. It kinda fell into my lap at the last minute and i cant wait, its at the end of February . Hope to get LOTS of pages done there !

Hey everyone , just a quick hello and update so its not weeks again ! Lol , lots going on , just busy with lots of everyday things , and just life ! These are just a couple layouts i made last week, i JUST love the first one , always one of my favorite photos. I have some more simple layouts i did at my crop on Sunday but i havent photoed them yet. Ive been liking doing alot of simple basic scrapping lately and getting back to the reason i scrap to begin with . Hope everyone is doing well . I will check out your blogs soon , i promise ! Hey Everyone ! Hope you week is going good ! Feels like so long since i posted but i guess it hasnt really been . Here are a few layouts i just did , the Christmas ones are made using the LITTLE SAINT NICK kit from http://www.noelmignon.com/ ( she has more than one kit though ) , the My Fafa and Michael are using Noel's Debut kit , and the the I Heart Autumn is a mix of Noel's kit and Sugardumplin's November Original kit .

I have all sorts of new goodies i am trying to dig into ! I think i will be doing some more later and tomorrow, so woohoo to that ! I wont be able to scrap much this weekend cuz we are having a party for Nikolas . His bday is really the day after xmas so i always have to have it early , just easier that way !

BTW, still LOVING my Clip It Up !!!! I will never regret buying that baby !! Oh, and Jen was right, she said on my last post things happen in 3's ( the TS layout of the week and the ST post of the week ) , well this week im the inspiration up from Inspiration Friday on IMCK . Too funny !

Happy Thanksgiving everyone ! Hope you all get to eat lots of turkey and pie ! I love Thanksgiving food ! I have been busy scrapping ! DH was away in Wisconsin so i had some time this weekend ! The first layout " Friends" ( i used more of Noel's yummy kit on that one ) is actually featured on Treasured Scrapbooking this week as layout of the week ! I didnt even know till i signed on their site and there it was ! LOL .... This is my first try at a 6x12 layout and im totally loving it ! Its such a cool size now i need to get an album !
